Itinerary

• Pick up from Hotel & Registration
• Arrive at foot of Gunung Bintan. Go through a pre-trekking briefing.
• Start of trekking through undisturbed nature and see the majestic giant rainforest trees, cross over rubber plantations, and a spring within the hills. 
• Trekking takes you to the base on the other side of Gunung Bintan, ending the expedition through tropical fruit plantations. 
• Transfer back to Bintan Resorts.
• Lunch or dinner (optional)

Challenge the 340-metre high of Gunung Bintan mountain by trekking through Bintan’s rainforest. Discover giant trees that are over 40 meters tall and catch a glimpse of rare animals such as silver leaf monkeys, deer, sunbirds, eagles and much more. Upon descent from the mountain, step under the waterfall to receive a cool shower of blessings. Try seasonal fruits which are available in the wild such as the spiky durian, fragrant jackfruits, rambutan, mangosteens, duku, banana, papaya, and pineapples.

Things to Note

• Daily tour depature time @ 0900 hrs & 1300 hrshrs
• Total Hike Duration is 2-4 hrs depending on pace of trekkers
• Pick up time is about 30 minutes before scheduled depature

Recommended for the Hike

• A pair of good strong sneakers or trekking boots (no slippers)
• Long pants & cotton T-shirt (preferable with long sleeves)
• A raincoat and hat, mosquito repellent spray/lotion & hand towel
• Sunblock is strongly recommended
